The Rules

The Uniform

pebble-dash-areye is'nt complete without the uniform. It's got to play a part to every dashers game. The rules state that titles can be taken away from any dasher that does'nt wear the correct uniform. The uniform is one of the things that makes pebble-dash-areye so unique from all basic ball games.There-fore it's pretty vital to get the uniform correct and make it look unlike any others.
You look the bomb, your gona throw a bomb!

- All dashers must wear a custom made top (t-shirt, polo) with a nickname and the dashers number on the back
- All players must have their trousers tucked into their socks.
- The winner of the last round/game must wear the winners hat and also must present it to whatever dasher, when the winner changes.

GamePlay Rules

-The ball must bounce on the wall entry zone on each players serve,(this takes place when the game starts and when a player is out)
-The ball must bounce on the floor before coming back off the wall
-every player apart from the thrower and the up coming thrower must be 8 foot behind gameplay (the bin in dasher terms)
-Dashers must throw no nearer then 6-foot from the wall.(2 slab line)
-The ball must travel at least 6-foot when coming back off the wall.(past the 2 slab line)
-When out dashers must be located to an area known as the "pod" that doesnt affect gameplay.
-The first two players out become judicators(refs)
-No ladies can join in gameplay
-Cheerleaders are required for each match
-If a dasher loses a ball in game play or pratice then they must sit out the next game.
-The maximum number of players in a group game are 14,team games can be played with however much on each team (as long as it does'nt add up to more then 14).Single games are 3 dash sets and the first player to score  8 point wins the dash set.You have to win by 2 clear points.Plus if each player wins a dash set then the last game is the first to 15 (win by at least by 2 clear points)
-The ball must only bounce off the wall in the desired area.
-Once a player has thrown the ball they must move in the oppisite direction so that the next player is able to make the catch. If the dasher is clearly in the way then the dasher will be out due to obstruction.
-Mild taughts are allowed when waiting for your thorw and players out can make up cheers.
-Music can be used to improve the overall gameplay.(not no pop or rock got to have the hip-hop for the best performances!)

Where can pebble-dash-areye be played?

The beauty of the game means that within reason Pebble-Dash-areye can be played anywhere. The wall/surrounding must have an element of surprise about it for example the offical court (lutterworth grammar school) has 2 feet of pebbles in front of the wall.Meaning that if you throw the ball at the pebbles then the ball will have a chance of totally changing direction. The challege is that the ball may bounce out of the zone, remain straight or completly leave the next player with no chance!
This is the risk of taking a pebbledash shot! It's also ideal if you can find a wall that offers indents or something that will effect the flight of the ball when rebounding of the wall. This ident or different level of wall must only be small so that it requires a great amount of skill to hit it.The rest of the wall should be flat so that it envoles your own skill, power and creation to give your fellow dashers a hard time. It's likely that with little looking you will come across a playable wall!
