Tricks of the trade

Fakes, spins, cross courters, lobs, defts, through legs and dazes the amount of tricks in Pebble-Dash-Areye are endless!
To be the dasher king you've got to come equipped with all the tricks and some of your own magic.Tricks have to be used to win games, and it's choosing both the pace and positioning of yourself and the opponent to deliver the shot to it's best effect.Mixing tricks up can cause great effect for example mixing a through leg and a cross court fake, meaning that you've came up with a through leg fake thats going to trick the next dasher into thinking your going to dash the ball cross court when its really going through your legs and in a straight line.
Below explains the tricks and how they can be used to there best effect.

Fakes
overall a very effective shot and can be used in loads of different ways.Positioning your body into cross court and then drilling the ball straight in front of you leaves the next dasher having to pull off a good catch. The fake can also be used to make your opponent think your going full out on power when infact your going to unleash a slow low shot thats just going to make it over the 6-foot mark (this is a deft shot)

Cross Courter
This shot can be used when you've been pushed wide.Bang a low shot with alot of angle so that it almost flicks of the wall leaving the next dasher with no chance. The risk of this shot is that you might create so much angle that it does'nt rebound 6-foot back off the wall.

Deft Shot
A cheeky shot, But quite hard to perfect. This shot envoles little height and pace to catch the next dasher off guard. It can be used on your serve to fool the dasher but much more effective if a dasher is positioned quite far away from the wall as the dasher has to be fast and pick the ball up low.By putting a little angle on this shot it can make it very difficult for the next dasher to pick up.

Lob
A shot that can be used to clever effect. If your brought close to the wall then the next dasher is likely to follow you.Meaning that you can fire a lob shot over his head in hope that it hits the floor!
The best way to nail this shot is to thorw it very fast and hard, get the ball to hit the floor late so that the ball will rebound off the wall lower meaning that the ball will go up after impact with the wall.

Dash
The equivalent to an ace in tennis.Your attempting to hit the side of the entry zone to create as much angle as possible. The lob and deft shot can also be used in hope to deliver a dash.

Spin shot
This shot creates more momentum meaning more power can be used. You can switch hands when spinning fastly so the next dasher is lost! try more rotation to a 540 or hit a smooth cross courter. The great thing about this shot is that when its done fast the next dasher is not sure where the balls going as you carnt see the position of the body and hand.

Daze (pebble dash)
The shot that envoles using the "speical feature" of each wall. When the feature (pebbles infront of wall, indents in wall, or different levels) is used with skill its likely to daze the next dasher as the ball will do something random.Going to the left when it should be going to the right, sharp angle when you've fire it straight. It's the element of surprise that can totally wrong foot the next dasher but as stated in the rules the shots a bit of a risk.

Through leg
When done well an incredibly effective shot. Can really only be done well when your back is agaist the wall offen done with a 180 spin to give the momentum thats needed to create speed on the ball. This shot always keeps low and dashers find it hard to judge where its going.

Behind back
On this shot your arm travels behind your back and not your front. For this reason the shot is hard to master.Your likely to find the ball travels high on the execution of the shot and can go above the zone if not done correctively!

catching
The most important factor to the game is the catch.Nearly everyone can catch but you have to be much more then a average catcher of the ball to succed in the game. You must feel strong using left and your right hand plus you have to be prepared to dive to win!

Movement
A vital part to the game, you have to be a step infront of your dasher to know where he is going to fire the ball.Pace is the key to success in the game as it offers you to be able to get to the low balls and wide shots. Both reach and jump help a player greatly as lob shots are'nt as likely to catch you out.By using movement in shots and throws the next dasher needs to have his mind on the game to keep up.

These are all of the basic pebble-dash-areye shots you can develop them  by using movemont e.g jumping into shots for more power and switching hands to confuse the next dasher. When playing, input your own spice into shots to become a better player.
